She didn't know what she expected.
She was otherwise engaged. But it was something that snuck up and grabbed her by the back of the head. It came on her like an unwelcome spirit possessing her every heartbeat. She didn't want to hide. She wanted to explore every corner. She wanted to unfold the dirty laundry and place it neatly on a shelf. But what did she expect? She wanted to travel back, Take a left where she took a right, Rethink her choices, Speak her mind, But fear choked her - a dirty rag stuffed into her throat And she let all the goodness melt. What did she expect?
