My dad died when I was eight. I mean I found out he did. I'm ten now, and mom said i was old enough to know. I guess I already knew, because other kids at school had dad's that didn't ever come home with the rest of the dads and they told me it was because they were dead. Anyway Sister Helen took me out of class one day and asked me if I was ok. I said yes. She said are you sure. I said yes. She sent me to the nurse and I had to sit there til mom came and got me. She didn't say anything, but I could tell she was sad about something. I stayed out of school until summer and then we moved to Temecula. Grandpa lives there. Next year I went to a new school. It had a big playground. Mom got a job at a Burger King, which was cool because sometimes she would bring back some chicken fries. I love chicken fries. She says maybe next year I have to go to a different school. In the same town, but different. Last week I got in trouble because I set the shed on fire. It was a accident but I still got in trouble. The firemen were cool. They let me go in the fire truck. I have to go now to the doctor. I'm not sick or anything, he's just a talking doctor. Bye.
